AVOYELLES PARISH, La. - While Avoyelles Parish received major flooding a few weeks ago, more major flooding and storms have hit other places among the US. New Orleans, Northeast Oklahoma, and Southeastern Missouri, all have been hard-hit with rain, debris, and flooding of their own. Some weather-related incidents have even taken lives. 7 to 12 inches were recorded in places in southeast and eastern Missouri. High winds have affected Northeast Oklahoma, near the town of Norman, and flooding in New Orleans has left some buildings waterlogged.
