Traffic Alert: LA 115 Closed North of Hessmer

AVOYELLES PARISH, La. — Motorists are advised that Louisiana Highway 115 north of Hessmer is temporarily closed as crews replace cross drain pipes.

The closure began Sunday, July 26, and is expected to remain in effect through Friday, July 31.

Detour Routes:

  • Northbound traffic: Take LA 114 east to Mansura, then continue north on LA 1 to Marksville.

  • Southbound traffic: Travel south on LA 1 to Marksville, then take LA 114 west back toward Hessmer and LA 115.

Drivers should expect delays, use caution while traveling through the area, and follow posted detour signs. For the latest road conditions, motorists can check the 511 Louisiana Traveler Information System or contact the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office.
